| On the 14th and 15th of March, 2018, Liverpool will play host to the SIBA X event at the Exhibition Centre on the King's Dock. Taken from the SIBA website, Nick Stafford, the Operations Director of SIBA said: “SIBA is very pleased to be taking BeerX to the vibrant city of Liverpool, which, like so many cities across the UK, has seen an explosion in independent craft brewing and thirst amongst drinkers for quality beer. It was a tough decision to move the event as Sheffield has been BeerX’s home for five years, but we think the time is right for a change and look forward to hosting our key event at this very professional exhibition centre in Liverpool.” |   |
For those on the fringe of the SIBA X Event, there is a chance to bask in some great beery fallout around Liverpool, especially on the evening of the 14th March, as there are a number of events being held in tastings, beer launches, tap takeovers and afterparties. Hitchhiker Peach IPA Launch with Fourpure Brewing Company
A launch of the Hitchhiker Peach IPA along with several other Fourpure beers will be on offer on the taps at Brewdog's Liverpool branch, along with cans of Easy Peeler and Deep South for take out or drink in. Rumour has it that Rob and Sophie from Fourpure will be there to join festivities and talk about their beers.

Mad Hatter versus North Brewing Tap Takeover Event
North Brewing are heading over to Craft Minded to face off against Liverpool's Mad Hatter Brewing Company, providing 4 lines of lovely Leeds brewed beer and loads of their canned brews to boot, along with plenty of local favourites from Mad Hatter's yard.

SIBA X Afterparty with Red Cat, Eight Arch, Hammerton, Hawkshead Brewery and more
The Official Afterparty of SIBA X is being held just out of the city centre in an up and coming area of Liverpool for craft beer on Smithdown Road. The lines at CRAFT Taproom are being taken over by award winning beers from the likes of Electric Bear, Hammerton, Hawkshead, Red Cat, Eight Arch and Gun and more. CRAFT Taproom are getting ever so excited and have installed extra lines, just to get the clientele that little bit more giddy!

North vs. South Tap Takeover
North Brewing and Signature Brew are taking over the bar with five beers from each brewery taking over the Dead Crafty Taps for the evening.

SIBA X Afterparty Event
Higson's, Love Lane and Ginsmiths home of Tap and Still will be hosting a number of local breweries taking over the taps at the Baltic Triangle Taproom. A DJ and complimentary bar nibbles are provided along with a selection of great beers, these will include Liverpool Beer Collective member brewery beers such as:
